The Rescuers of the Youth - Hoop City was established as a City Summer Youth Basketball program. The objective is to offer youth basketball training programs for the ages 12-14 and ages 15-17 in the City of Lynchburg, Virginia.
Youth have the passion and strength to make a positive impact in the world. If offered the right opportunities, youth empowerment is endless.
Our Mission
The mission of the Rescuers of the Youth-Hoop City, LLC, created by founder Robert Flood, to encourage increased community involvement of parents, youth, and local officials through cultural activities, group discussions, cultural awareness, medical and mental health, and financial programs while participating in a summer community event.
Our Vision
Our vision is to encourage young people to take an active part in physical activities through the summer. To meet the vision, we want to grow this program to include other ages and develop other physical activities in addition to basketball.
